​We have created a girls group for girls of all ages with a focus on the adolescent years. We will help girls be fearless and lead while empowering them to become self-aware through safety practices with the ultimate goals of helping them find their hidden values.

​There are a number of issues that girls are facing and they are facing more issues at younger ages.

Why?
​Lack of both families in the home, media, being exposed to negative factors, etc. Gem-N- Me works to encourage, enlighten, and empower girls through their strengths, challenges and choices of daily life through Self Awareness.

“We are role models!”

​During a session, one of our Gems stated “besides you guys (Kris and Penny) we don’t really have role models and people to tell us what’s right and what’s wrong.” That statement made me think of how many other girls felt the same way. If no one is teaching the youth whats right and wrong can we (as adults) be upset when they make the wrong choices? If we wont teach them who will?

“We’ve mastered a communication skill”

With our many years of working with youth, we have learned to master a communication skill that has created a great impact for adolescent girls. These days we have created other outlets such as blogging, jewelry making, and doing things that makes girls feel good about themselves. We also encourage our readers to take our Journal Writing Challenge!
We have created this site and written blogs for any girl, women, grandparent, aunt, sister, and even boys and men. Enjoy!
